I am entering this for my granddaughter Julie Hoff who lives with us, her grandparents, Lorea and Bob McAllister in Consort. Before the gran pals program even began Julie would visit the Seniors Lodge and she was lucky enough to become friends with Mr. Sampson. They were both interested in reading and espically poetry so she found books for them to share. Mr. Sampson was a special friend to Julie and she visited him even when he went to the Extended Care. Julie will be 14 years old in November but is wise beyond her years as she has a struggle and much turmoil in her young life, Mr. Sampson was such a kind man with a love of literature she could share, a friendship that made a difference in her life, and in his I hope.
