It's 12:22 a.m. In Ottawa and I was thinking of the kind and wonderful doctor I had who delivered my son on April 5, 1982 . I googled Dr Lynne Maureen McKenzie and to my sadness found her obituary. She was a beautiful person and a great doctor to me. I have been in Ottawa for 27 years now but have always missed her as my doctor. My condolences to her family and friends.

It is hard to find words to adequately express our sadness. We were and still are shocked to learn of Lynne's passing. She was a wonderful person and a great and caring physician. The community was very lucky to have had Lynne here serving so many throughout the years. We will miss her beyond measure. Sincere condolences to all her family and friends. To all who loved and cared about her please know that there are many, many people who share your grief and sorrow.

As Marina and George have said, our med school classmates were all saddened to hear of Lynne's untimely death. I sent a message to the class after I heard from Adele, and there have been so many emails circulating amongst us, sharing memories of Lynne.

It have learned with shock and sadness about the passing of my colleague and friend of more that 12 years in Coronation. During that time I found Lynne to be an excellent physician who cared a lot about her patients. Will miss you.
