FRIESEN-ALBERS, Christopher Lee
1981 – 2021
Christopher passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 40 years. Christopher was born on April 9, 1981 in Edmonton, Alberta. Outside of a few summer jobs working outside the city, Christopher remained a resident of Edmonton all his days. At a young age he could easily visit with adults and continued to be a people person through his teens and adult years. Like many youth, Christopher pushed the limits and tried “doing it his way”. When he was 15 years old, this earned him a summer job at a mill in Edson. Christopher was especially proud of the new, grown-up, work boots and although he worked hard and was successful, he was not a fan of the 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. daily requirements of work. Shortly after, back at school, he determined a career in pharmacy would be a good fit. Christopher was very intelligent and exceled at more than just school work. Even though the grip of narcotics took Christopher influenced so much of his adult life, he will be fondly remembered for so much more; Christopher was caring and sensitive, creative with words and graphics, however he was tough on himself, not accepting his work as quality.
Christopher is dearly missed and will be forever loved and remembered by his family and friends. A private family service will be held at a later date.
