PURDY, Denise Mary

1947 – 2021

Mrs. Denise Purdy, beloved wife to predeceased Mr. Dale Purdy of Coronation, Alberta, formerly of Taylor, British Columbia, passed away in Calgary, Alberta, September 20, 2021 at 74 years of age. 

Denise was born February 10, 1947 in Prince Alberta, Saskatchewan to Edmond and Lucien Levoie. At twenty years of age, Denise married Dale on June 10, 1967.   Denise worked in hospitality for many years as a cook.  Denise and Dale moved to Coronation to live near family.  She was a loving mother, provider, and loyal wife. She will be remembered fondly for her bubbly personality, loving nature, and of course, her cooking.

Denise will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter, Evelyn Purdy (Smith Reid) and their children, Alexis, Seamus, Carlos, and Jennifer, of Coronation, Alberta; her son, Edward (Sharon) Purdy and their children, Elandria and Danelle of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; siblings, Eli Levoie, Michael Levoie, Ernest (Frances) Levoie, all of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Thresa (Albert) Parody of Albertville, Saskatchewan and Rachel Purdy; as well as extended family and friends.  Denise is predeceased by her hard-working husband, Dale; parents, Edmond and Lucien; and brother, Henry.

A private family gathering will be held to remember and honour the life of Denise, their dear Mom and Grandmother.
